Eager Anticipation

We're sitting at the Gate right now, we have about another hour before they start to board.

Highlights of the trip so far:

The toolbag on the flight from Denver to Charlotte who flat refused to put his laptop under his seat in order to free up overhead space for us to put a small bag.   His excuse?   He had been traveling for 8 days.   Mike stole the armrest from him for the whole flight.

There was a group of soldiers on the flight from Charlotte to DC.   This one guy had the SWEETEST haircut EVER.   Oh lawd, I wish I could accurately describe it.   I'm going to try, but just know I won't do it justice.    From the front, he just had a good ole high and tight.   But from the back.... well, it looked like a horseshoe on top of his head.   Like he had this little ring of hair around the edges, but was totally bald in the middle.   I really didn't understand why he didn't just Bic it.

We've met THREE other families on their way to Ethiopia to adopt.   One is clearing embassy and bringing their son home!   So awesome, right?

I didn't sleep but maybe an hour last night.   I had horrible heartburn and a headache.   I kept trying not to wake Mike up, but I think that I probably kept him up for a while.   At least that will make it easier to sleep on the plane.   I guess.

So, we're ready to go!   In less than 24 hours we get to meet our boy!!
